Meet Brandon Durant

As a dedicated Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Brandon is an architect of financial success. He excels in anticipating and fulfilling each client’s unique needs, and consistently exceeding their expectations. With a passion for crafting personalized financial solutions, Brandon is committed to elevating your financial journey.

Brandon graduated from Algonquin College in Business Administration in 2010 and joined Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network that same year. His association with Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network, a significant distributor of financial products and services, offers the support necessary to deliver the exceptional service his clients expect.

Embracing continuous education, Brandon holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS™) designations. Brandon is licensed for mutual funds in the Provinces of Ontario and Quebec. and is licensed for Life and Health Insurance in the Province of Ontario.

Chief Operating Officer of Brandon Durant Financial Management.

Lori is our Chief Operations Officer and EOS Integrator, focused on turning vision into action and helping our team and business grow with clarity and purpose. She leads with intention, manages with care, and holds herself—and the team—accountable to high standards.

Her role is centered on building structure, removing barriers, and ensuring we stay aligned with our core values. As a key driver of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) implementation, Lori supports our leadership team and creates space for everyone to do their best work.

With over 15 years dedicated to practice management and business development, Lori brings deep expertise in operations, sales, marketing, and human resources. She’s a well-rounded, strategic leader committed to creating real, lasting value for both the team and our clients.

Lori’s real superpower is bringing people together, building trust, and creating a solid, positive space where everyone can grow and do great work. With Lori by our side, our team knows we have the guidance, support, and leadership to move forward with confidence.

Donna Palmer is our wonderful Advisor Assistant and Insurance Coordinator, bringing strong expertise and a caring touch to everything she does. With years of experience in the financial and insurance industry, she’s a key part of making sure our office runs smoothly and our clients feel supported.

Donna focuses on insurance administration, preparing client files, organizing meetings, and staying on top of all the important details behind the scenes. She works closely with our advisors to make sure everything is clear, complete, and ready—so every client interaction is seamless.

She’s calm, reliable, and always ready to help, whether it’s answering questions, following up on insurance updates, or making sure schedules and documents are in perfect order. Her warm nature and steady support make a real difference for both clients and our team.

Outside of work, Donna enjoys spending time with family, reading, and knitting—simple things that bring her joy and balance. We’re so lucky to have her as part of our team.
